Earned By The Billionaire
Earned by the Billionaire: A Sweet BWWM Romance - Shani Greene-Dowdell

This author did a wonderful joy with giving the readers a story that begins with how Kayla was feed up with her boyfriend that wasn't giving her what she wanted and ending it. I was glad to see her get out of that situation and meeting Rusty the billionaire was just the icing on the cake for her. But was it? I will say as I was reading this novel I thought it was somewhat predictable, however as I kept reading I did find it somewhat different with some twist and turns that this author gives the reader that made the read somewhat different from my previous thoughts about the read. I would like to explain more but I don't want to give away too much! All I will say is that this was very well done by the author! Now, I will have to say that communication was definitely needed and was lacking that did bring about some major problems however, it seems like in the end ... well, I will stop here and say I don't want to give it all away but just tell the reader to pick up the good read for a sweet beautiful story of Kayal and Rusty. Truly Rusty had quite a story about what had happen earlier in his life that was indeed sad. However, will Kayla be able forgive Rusty in the end for not sharing with her about his situation? Will Kayal and Rusty be able to move on and find their HEA in the end? This was definitely one of those reads that was about 'life, faith, hope, tragedy, trust, death and love' that will keep your turning the pages till the captivating end. The characters from Kayla, Pam, Ju, Helen, Rusty, Cassandra and Paula to name a few gives the novel quite some storyline being well developed, portrayed and in the end one good interesting read. Another reason I enjoyed this read was that it is a standalone read.

"Sweet Dreams" by Cecelia Dowdy

My Thoughts...

A good story of Misty and Sterling finding the right love. This continues with 'The Bakery Romance Series' showing how the relationships of two different families come together. I loved how this author showed how each family person was able to deal with the hand that was dealt with them. For Misty I sympathized with what she had gone through in her life and now wanting a new change in her life but would moving give her what she needed? For Sterling being the older with twin younger brothers with one having such hatred feelings for his own brother was really something for one to have had to go through. Yes, there will be 'jealousy, stubbornness, secrets and judgement' for these two main characters to have to go through before ...well this is the part where I say you will have to pick up "Sweet Dreams" and see for yourself how well this author delivers it to her readers.

In the end will Misty learn that 'she was worthy of receiving help as well as giving help?' I was able to learn a little bit more about what goes on in a 'Soup Kitchen's' in how they are organized with volunteers serving, cooking and even cleaning up from this novel. The characters [from Sterling, Leon, Louis, Aunt June, Adrian, Misty Eddie, Carmen,Jennifer, Lucy, Latisha, Rachel, Nate], to name a few for the most part were simply off the chart being well developed, defined and believable giving the readers one well written told story.

One last thing I want to mention and that is the good food that was mentioned in the read. This will only leave you wishing for some of those recipes...like red velvet cake, peanut butter cookies, chili, mango muffins.lasagna, cinnamon rolls and homemade bread to name a few [note to the author]!

Will Misty and Sterling get there HEA after all they have been put through? Well, you will just have to pick up this good read to see! If you are looking for a good 'Christian Romance Fiction' you have come to the right place for 'Sweet Dreams' will give it all to you and yes I would recommend this series to you as a good read.

Review:

"The Bride Wore Chocolate" by Shirley Jump was a delightful fun contemporary romance. This author really made the read very interesting with after each chapter we were given delectable recipes that were served up with a lots of chocolate.

We find that the heroine had vowed to live life by the book, never to throw caution to the wind as she had once. Now Candace (Candy) was living life where it was safe, therefore picking out a very boring fiancee by the name of Barry Borkenstein. However, a Michael Vogler (hero) comes into the picture showing Candy that she should trust her heart and take that leap of faith with him. Will Candace be willing to take the plunge after her wacky grandmother, mother, and her girl friends (Rebecca & Maria) know that she was unhappy with her present decision? This is where I say you must pick up "The Bride Wore Chocolate" to see what and how of it all will turn out for Candace.

Be ready to laugh out loud because the author will definitely have you doing just that, along with the wonderful recipes that used lots of chocolate, a funny grandmother, marrying mom, good friends, and some hot sex along the way in this good novel.

The characters were off the chart good being well developed, portrayed, colorful, and most were even likable all making this a good romantic read. This was definitely one of those read that once you started reading it was hard to stop until it was finished and I would recommend "The Bride Wore Chocolate" as a good read.
