Light summer read
Remember When - T. Torrest

I received a copy via Netgalley to review
Remember When is the perfect summer read. This book was very lighthearted and took me back to being younger and to a time period I never experienced. I feel as I got to experience life from a very different perspective. It wasn't a book that really made me think or that I related to on a deeper level. It was a bit superficial, but this is not to say that I didn't enjoy it. It was the perfect read for a day where I needed to relax. I didn't really find myself relating to many of the characters, but I found them intriguing all the same. It was a quick and relaxing read for me, but I wanted more. I don't really feel as if the story went anywhere. I'm not sure if I will return for a sequel.

Remember When: A Romantic Teen Comedy (Remember Trilogy) (Volume 1) - T. Torrest

Not a long review, but just a short one to express my feelings and thoughts. Also might contain spoilers (small ones).

Trip was just gorgeous, and a really sweety, but also quite oblivious at times.

Layla, oh Layla, she was a wonderful character though at times I just wanted to smack her. I would have loved it if her character was more outgoing and that she didn't bottle things up. She could have been with Trip longer, if she had something to him, talked it over with him.
I was pretty pissed at her when she just gave up and went back to her ex-boyfriend (who apparently didn't mind her coming back).

I loved the 90s references, I didn't get them all, but that is mostly because I don't live in America, and not everything gets carried over to where I live. So I had to look up some things. And dear lord, I stick to my point, America has some strange foods at times. *shivers*

Layla's best friend was really lovely and I loved her and how she acted. She had her bitchy times, but most of the time they made up and they were there for each other.

I would truly recommend this book to everyone. It has a few scenes that feature sex, but most of the book is tame.

Remember When
Remember When: A Romantic Teen Comedy (Remember Trilogy) (Volume 1) - T. Torrest

This was fun, cute and nostalgic for me to read since it was set in the 90s. I don't know if I will read more since I'm not really into reading romances dragged through 3 books. I prefer to get my HEA sooner rather than later. But I still enjoyed this and recommend it to New Adult and series romance fans.

Remember When 3: The Finale
Remember When 3: The Finale - T. Torrest There is something special about the love between these two. I think the thing that I loved the most about this finale was the lack of pretence, these two decided too much time was wasted, and now they were going to be together forever, no matter what. And yes there were lots of moments when it felt like they weren't going to make it, but there were also those moments when you just knew they had to. I think that Trip and Layla are just two of the most inspiring and their love is one that just touched me. I know that they have a HEA. And I don't think many people deserve it more.
