If I took any notes on the last three books of the Heroes of Olympus, I lost them along the way. This is probably an inflated review. I kept thinking, I'll know how I really feel about The Mark of Athena after I finish the series which probably means it was a typical middle book. It set up some stuff, but in the long run left me with loose ends more than anything.
I enjoyed reading this one more than the last one, but there was something that was kind of bothering me. I was sort of losing Percy's voice whenever I was reading his part, which I am sad about because I REALLY loved his voice in the previous series.

Fabulous. Riordan tells an amazing story and he keeps the pace up from start to finish. You never really want to put the book down until you're done.
