September Wrap-Up

I know it is almost November  but I noticed I had not posted my September Wrap-Up yet so here it is!

I've been really busy with with work and other stuff these past few weeks and I have not been able to post as much as I would have liked. Also, I did not read that much either. Still, I managed to read a few books in september.

I only read 4 books and I am really behind on my reading challenge. But I don't want to pressure myself to much about it and I just want to read whatever I feel like reading!

You're Welcome, Universe - Whitney Gardner  Save the Date - Morgan Matson  The Darkest Minds - Alexandra Bracken  A Reaper at the Gates - Sabaa Tahir

Also I just adopted a baby cat so expect a lot of pictures of him with books :)

August wrap-up

Again, August was not a really good reading month. The weather was quite nice and I used to go out a lot with my friends to make the most of  it (we are not used to dry and warm weather where I live). Oh, I also went to several festivals again and celebrated different things with my friends, so not a lot of time to read.

But I really enjoyed the books I read, so that is a good thing :)

So here are the 7 books I read in the month of August (well, I thought I did not read that much but in the end 7 is pretty good!):

The Disreputable History of Frankie Landau-Banks - E. Lockhart  Orpheum - D.S. Murphy  Of Fire and Stars - Audrey Coulthurst  To All the Boys I've Loved Before - JennyHan  P.S. I Still Love You - Jenny Han  Always and Forever, Lara Jean - Jenny Han  War Storm (Red Queen) - Victoria Aveyard

Including 3 audiobooks which is a lot as I usually listen to one every month.

September is here and it will also be really busy, I have a dancing show coming up at the end of the month and I have to train at least 2 times a week for it, so I know I will be exhausteud and won't have as much time to read as I would like to (also started playing Zelda again and man, this is taking so much of my time!)

I hope you had a good summer!

June + July wrap-up

I haven't read that much in the last two months. I went to different festivals, spent a lot of time with friends and family and celebrated a lot of birthdays (including mine). So it also meant less time for reading, but it was great.

So here are the books I read in June and July:

The Boy on the Bridge - M.R. Carey  Before I Go to Sleep - S.J. Watson  Becoming Human - Eliza Green  Landline - Rainbow Rowell  Evergreen (Mer Tales, Book 2) - Brenda Pandos  Vicious - V.E. Schwab  Renegades - Marissa Meyer  Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban: The Illustrated Edition - J.K. Rowling,Jim Kay

May Wrap Up

Here is my May wrap-up. I did not read that much in the month of May, I was kind of in a reading slump for most of the month. But still, I really enjoyed what I read.

Extras (The Uglies) - Scott Westerfeld  Night of Cake & Puppets (Daughter of Smoke & Bone) - Laini Taylor,Jim Di Bartolo  Wonder - R.J. Palacio  Replica - Lauren Oliver  Huis Clos and Other Plays - Jean-Paul Sartre  A Court of Frost and Starlight - Sarah J. Maas

It is difficult to pick a favourite this month (like every month, really). I would say ACOFAS because I had been waiting for it for so long, but Wonder was beautiful and A Night of Cake and Puppets was so cute.

What was your favourite read this month?

Thanks for reading,

February Wrap-Up

I decided not to do any TBR or any challenges (except the 80 books I want to read) for 2018, but just read what I feel like reading. I have many unread books and I'm trying to focus on those. But I still decided to have a "theme" for each month to help me choose what I was going to read.

My theme for February was "re-read a favourite" and for this I read:

Ignite Me - Tahereh Mafi

Uglies - Scott Westerfeld  Pretties - Scott Westerfeld

In addition to that, I read some other books because I felt like it!

One of Us Is Lying - Karen M. McManus  Armada - Ernest Cline  Orpheum (Part One): A Dark Fantasy Romance - James D. Murphy

3/5 stars                                 3/5 stars                    4/5 stars

I was really happy to start re-reading the Uglies series but I did not liked it as much as I did as a teenager. I really enjoyed it because of the nostalgia attached to it. Orpheum was actually my favourite book this month, I was not expecting that at all and I really enjoyed it. I can't wait for part 2.

I did not read that much in Februari and I did not watch a lot of TV series either. I really had a busy month focusing on my friends and family. I went to 3 concerts, went to Paris with my mom and sister, see some friends I had not seen in a while and actively started planning my wedding. I hope March will be less busy (it won't though).

I hope you had a lovely month!

Thanks for reading,
