I've not been around much lately (eh, life), but I'm hoping to change that in the coming days. Is anyone even still playing snakes and ladders anymore!? I've been going ridiculously slowly (as is my norm), but I'll keep playing for another while just to see more puffins on my board!

I finished The Great Gatsby and Spide: The Lost Tribes, which I loved, for very different reasons. I could only roll 1 die and got a 3, which takes me to square 12. I now have to read a book where the authors last name begins with T, U, V, W, X, Y or Z and I'll either pick a classic or a non-fiction, as I'm really getting into them.

As well as finishing up this book, which has been so much fun, I'm going to read The Great Gatsby for square number 9, so that I've read over 200 pages. I'm going to a murder-mystery dinner soon and the theme is The Great Catsby, so I just thought now would be a good time to read it.

The protagonists are taking a trip on board the Belfast Enterprise train to film a historical landmark. I foresee shenanigans!

Sorry I haven't been around much lately, I've been working quite a bit on my novel. Anyway, I finished My Sister, the Serial Killer and was subsequently able to roll 2 die and got a 3 and 4. This took me to square 9 which dictates I read a book where the authors last name begins with an H, I, J or K. I could find a book to fill those requirements pretty easily, but I want to read this book, so I'll just be rolling 1 dice next time. Booo!!! In the picture of my board below I've put a picture of a puffin on every square I've hit as I love puffins and I want them covering my board!

I received a copy of my friend's (Andy Luke) new book today and I'm very excited to start it. It's about two men from Belfast who must make a community film with religious fundamentalists, or risk losing their dole. It sounds like a lot of fun, which is exactly what I need right now.
