The Captain's Bluestocking Mistress, Erica Ridley
The Captain's Bluestocking Mistress - Erica Ridley
I enjoyed this Regency romance. While I received this free as part of the Exclusive Jewels Vol 3, I voluntarily chose to review this. I've given this a 4.5* rating. This is not for the under 18 readers. The hero is a war bitter man and a heroine with a longtime crush on him. After much foolishness on the heroine's part, which were very brazen of her, and the antics of the demon cat, there was lots to keep turning the pages for.

The Bluestocking (Wicked Wallflowers #4) - Christi Caldwell

I looked forward to this one ever since the “Mad Marquess” made his first appearance. I’m glade Gertrude got her happily-ever-after and that Stephen found his real father and got to keep his adoptive family as well. The story was enjoyable and entertaining. The passion good and the pace steady. It isn’t my favorite in the series, but I wasn’t bored with it and I enjoyed watching the characters grow and forgive and heal. Overall good story and strong characters.

Emma and the Earl (Bluestocking Brides #3) by: Samantha Holt
Emma and the Earl (Bluestocking Brides #3) - Samantha Holt

I took a gamble on less than perfect and it ran away with my heart. Emma and the Earl is an adventure in romance. Holt continues to captivate with unique characters, witty dialogue and the sweetest romances. Emma and her Earl are proof that the most precious treasure is what resides within.

Book Review For: 'Julia and the Duke' by Samantha Holt
Julia and the Duke (Bluestocking Brides Book 2) - Samantha Holt

'Julia and the Duke' by Samantha Holt is Book Two in the "Bluestocking Brides" series. This is the story of Lady Julia Chadwick and Guy, Duke of Weston. I have read the previous book "Amelia and the Viscount" but feel this can be a standalone book. With that said...I must say this is a great series and you might not want to miss in it! This book has about 120 pages...so it a nice easy read!
Julia is the oldest of the Chadwick sister. Julia too is a Bluestocking who loves to study animals and has been watching Otters and their mating habits. Julia was just about to witness their new babies when Guy comes out of the woods and scared them away. Once Julia got her voice from the shock of his good looks....she let him have a piece of her mind. Guy thought she was injured or attacked at first...Guy hasn't ever seen a women willing to get dirty it seems.

They have a very funny bickering meeting that just makes you want to plow through this book and read their happy ever after. I so love this sisters in the book and just can't wait for more stories by Ms. Holt!
Loved it!!!

Book Review For: Amelia and the Viscount by Samantha Holt
Amelia and the Viscount (Bluestocking Brides Book 1) - Samantha Holt

' Amelia and the Viscount' by Samantha Holt. This starts the new series "Bluestocking Brides". This is the story of Nicholas and Amelia. This book is a Novella with almost 100 pages.
Amelia and her sisters are what the Town call Bluestocking and different. They are not popular at all. When their sister married a Scotsman that added to their notoriety. Amelia is a writer who has taken to writing about her love of Nicholas . Nicholas is in love with her sister Lavinia who is now married. When some of her letters accidentally get delivered to Nicholas's home, Amelia and her sisters set out to get them back. Nicholas is still sadden by the lost of Lavinia but his feelings start to change with he starts to know Amelia better Nicholas finds that Amelia is more like him then he every thought Lavinia was. Amelia has that 'spark' that Nicholas has and understands.
Loved this sweet story and hope to see more stories about the other sisters. They each had such a fun attitude!
