Hard For My Boss by Daryl Banner 4 Stars!
Hard For My Boss - Daryl Banner

Trevor, the young summer intern, is totally SCREWED.
Working at Gage Communications is an opportunity of a lifetime.
But will Trevor be able to handle it? Or will he succumb to the tension?
The tension is in his pants, by the way.
Between a heavy workload and a hunky, controlling boss, Trevor's summer just got a lot hotter and harder than he bargained for.

Review

Turns out I am a huge Daryl Banner fan, I love the wit, rom com, and character driven romances between great heroes. Oh and sexy times that while pretty frequent are always written out the personalities of the couple and the nature of the relationship and therefore never feel rote.

I tend to dislike his titles a lot and what more exact settings. This is true for Hard for My Boss which is a porn written in a day tile. And really doesn't give this gem of a love story the launch it deserves.

This is another great romance with an age difference and a class difference. It has the oh dang you are my boss conflict as well. Ben and Trevor are lust dazed and while it is a bit over the top we can really see that they adore each other and that is what makes this book so special.

There is a lot of rich suitor fantasy in this book but it is balanced with Trevor who just doesn't take any crap and is so charming and Ben who, well, worships and values Trevor.

We have a great best friend for Trevor (the jabs between them are so funny!) and easy to sneer at "villain."

This book is a very very good time! Pick it up!

Quick Read
Hungry Boss - Charlize Starr Hungry Boss - Charlize Starr

Hungry Boss by Charlize Starr is an entertaining read.  This is a very quick read, a good choice for those with limited time for reading.  Ms. Starr has delivered a fun read.  Brooke has had a crush on her boss, Matt, for quite a while.  On a business trip to Vegas they end up drunk and married.  Brooke and Matt's story is filled with drama, humor and sizzle.  I enjoyed this story, even if the end was a little far fetched.  I did expect a longer read but instead found about 10 other books included with this book instead.  I didn't read them, so I can't give a review of the extra books.  The first book started with first-person format and that was enough for me to lose interest.  Hungry Boss is a complete book, not a cliff-hanger.

I should've never agreed to this arrangement...

Thirty days ago, my boss--Mr. Wolf of Wall Street, came to me with an offer I couldn't refuse: Sign my name on the dotted line and pretend to be his fiancée for one month. If I agreed, he would let me out of my employment contract with a "very generous" severance package. The rules were pretty simple: No intimate kissing, no actual sex. Just pretend to love each other for the press, even though I've secretly wanted to knock that sexy smirk off his face since the first day we met. I definitely didn't need to think twice about this. I signed my name and started counting down the seconds to when I would never have to deal with his special brand of ass-holery again.

I only made it to one minute...

We argued the entire four-hour flight to his hometown, failed to make a convincing impression with the welcoming press, and right when I was about to knock that arrogant look off his face in real life? He purposely dropped his bath towel in front of me, distracting me with his nine-inch cock to "show me who the bigger person was" in our relationship. Then he gave me his trademark smirk once again and asked if I wanted to consummate our marriage. Tragically, this is only day one. We still have 29 more days to go...

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Emily has had all she take of her job and her boss. Then he proposed a whole new deal. With all that is at stake, can she really last thirty days?

Nicholas fights his attraction to his assistant every day. Following her second anniversary with his company, he asks Emily to do him a favor. If they can get along for one month, maybe that will be all it takes.

The voices provided by Erin Mallon & Zachary Webber were just really good to listen to. I think it was a great combination, and the inflections and tones added to the story. I really hope I get to hear them in another book. This story with these voices was just magic.

This was such a fun and sexy story. There was heat, terrific banter, and a trope that any serious romance reader can get behind. I laughed and enjoyed listening to this book right to the end.
