Apple Inc. has presented the new AirPods Pro headphones, as the official site of the company reports, Next Feed informs.

The new headphones have a noise-cancellation function and support wireless charging Using the built-in microphones, the headphones detect sounds from the outside and mute them.

So the user can either hear what is happening around or completely remove external noise. A special sensor helps to regulate this function. One microphone focuses on ambient noise, and the other is directed inward to pick up any additional sound.

Activation of noise cancellation and switch to “Transparent mode” accomplish by clicking on the sensor on the headphone. In “Transparent mode” regime the user will hear some sounds of the surrounding world and listen to music at the same time. An external microphone picks up sounds from outside and transmits them over the music.

The new AirPods Pro headphones also allow using Siri voice assistant. Along with the headphones, flexible silicone nozzles in three different sizes are available.

On the official website of Apple, the price of new items is $ 249. Sales start on Wednesday, October 30.

The headphones are protected against moisture and dust and have a rating of IPX4 standard. They cannot be used while swimming, but they are able to withstand rain or sweat. For comfortable use of the headset, Apple has provided a special system for balancing external and internal pressure.

AirPods Pro can work up to 4.5 hours without recharging and more than 24 hours when using a wireless charging case. A five-minute recharge is enough for one hour of listening to music.

Each earpiece has dimensions 22 x 31 x 24 mm and weighs 5.4 grams, and the dimensions of the charging case, the design of which has also undergone significant changes, is 61 x 45 x 22 mm. It weighs about 46 grams. It will be possible to connect this headset to iPhones running iOS 13.2 or later.
