The story was good, but book could have used more editing
One Hell of a Prize - Ju Ephraime

This was an interesting story. Cheyenne was stronger than she thought she was but also smart enough to accept the gifts coming her way. Tipp felt instant attraction to Cheyenne and was wonderful as he wooed her. I liked the progression to their HEA. I thought this story could have been better with some editing to get rid of the overuse of some phrases.

Continuing story, more action and more questions
Relentless (The Shattered Chronicles / The Others #3) - Ciana Stone

As more of the story comes out, I am rooting for our couple. AS they tried to figure out what was happening to each of them, I felt them grow a little more. I enjoyed the story and look forward to the next installment.

Overcoming their past, their families, and their dreams to find what they needed.
Crazy Hearts (Hearts So Fine #2) - Annabeth Saryu

I enjoyed this story. Zoe and Mike were instant steam, but both kept their secrets. Zoe was a strong and determined woman, loyal to family, and able to look beyond her past. Mike had his differences with his family as he worked on his path through life. As the few curves that were thrown at them arose, it was honesty and love that helped them through. At the end, I still had some questions, but maybe they will be answered in the next book.

Cliffhanger, lots of action and violence, trumping love.
Ruthless (The Shattered Chronicles / The Others #2) - Ciana Stone

The story continues from Reckless and will continue into Relentless. There was a lot going on, many different points of view. I am not sure how I feel about Morgan any more but Cord needs all the positive vibes he can get. With all the players in this game, I had a bit of a problem keeping the good straight from the villains. I know how I want it to end, but now I need to wait for the next book.

Humor, love, forgiveness, all in a quick read.
Boy Toy (Confessions of a Chick Magnet #2) - Jenny Gardiner

An interesting read, and the first I have read by this author. There were moments of humor, moments of angst, moments of heat, and an instant attraction. Sully was a genuine guy, honest and kind. Izzy was a city girl, guarded and rushing about. Izzy slowed down and realized what she actually needed. I recommend this story as I really enjoyed it.
