With an increase in the population, there is more consumption of water and demand for better sewerage facilities. Due to poor sanitation and hence, waterlogging on rainy days, there is a need for better sewerage facilities to make the roads less waterlogged during rains.

4) Less Storage-Ability of Dams: There is a greater need to construct powerful dams that can store water and allow generating more units of electricity to meet the needs of the growing population of the world.
