I can't really review this book; I was the proofreader, so my opinion is biased. However, I will say that I absolutely loved this book. At one point, I had to take a break from proofreading since my eyes were tearing up so much that I couldn't see the words on the screen in front of me.

When Victor Martinez finds his former professor, Caroline Jones, crying in her office, he never expected to find her in his arms. Though he had loved her for years, he thought she was unattainable, especially since he was too shy to speak up. But when she admits that she wanted to be a mother but feared she would never find someone to have a child with, Victor volunteers to be the father... in the most natural way possible.

Caroline's Choice takes us into a love story started backward. Though Victor knew of his feelings for Caroline, he was never sure if she would learn to love him back. Caroline must battle her growing feelings for Victor while dealing with the censure of her employers and family for making a choice that not everyone agrees with, or even supports.

Victor and Caroline are fun, fleshed out characters, who have their own conflicts and drama, making them seem even more real. While Victor is part of a tight-knit family with a loving mother, he finds that the tensions are strained between Caroline and her mother, and this leads to misunderstandings and heartbreak. Luckily, the characters are able to rise enough their own failings and strive to become a family themselves. These are truly enjoyable people in an equally-enjoyable story that will whisk you off your feet into a domestic adventure.
