Did you see today's Google Doodle - a charming animated feature celebrating 101st birthday of Hedy Lamarr? She was a Hollywood star in the 30s, 40s and 50s. She was also an inventor. According to wikipedia, "the principles of her work are now incorporated into modern Wi-Fi, CDMA and Bluetooth technology."

Go watch it, folks. The cartoon is just lovely. I would've included it here if I knew how.

On Oct 3, Google celebrates Kenojuak Ashevak's birthday with a Google doodle. She would've been 87. Here are a few of her pictures from Google search. I think they are amazing.
