THERE'S A BABY IN MOMMY'S BELLY by Flo Barnett
There's A Baby in my mommy's belly - Gra... There's A Baby in my mommy's belly - Grammy's Gang

Hammie does not believe his mom is pregnant. He sees her body undergoing changes but he still does not believe until he feels the baby move and then other things happen before the baby comes.

This was done so well. I liked the rhyming of the story and its effect on Hammie. His fears come out. He is there when they have to go to the hospital. His meeting the baby is nice. The illustrations are good especially some of Hammie's dreams and thoughts about mom's changing body.

Perfect for 4-8 year olds whose moms are expecting.

DIRTY FACE LIAM by Flo Barnett
Dirty Face Liam (Grammy's Gang, #2) - Flo Barnett,Derek Bacon

Liam likes his dirty face. He won't give it up. Now Mom wants to know if he wants chocolate frosting. He feels it's a trick to clean his face. Is it?

I enjoyed this. There is some rhyming along with prose. It was fun to see Liam getting dirty. I remember those times. I like his thought process on the chocolate frosting. Exactly like a kid--what's more important--chocolate frosting or dirt? This is good for 4-8 year olds. Lots of fun!
