Reviews of all 16 books I read for Halloween Bingo.
... this short story compilation from the British Library Crime Classics series looks like it would fit the bill. (Link to Obi's review in the header and here.)
Note: For those looking for a print edition, I've also added the paperback edition to this post.
This is just from a quick scan of my to-read list. I love it when I discover I already own books that will fill squares.
I also realized I need to go back over my audiobooks and make sure I've added them all, because I found one I'd missed.
I'm excited!
I need more freebies downloaded like I need more cat fur on their favorite chair -- but, I'm snagging some as backup because might be useful for BINGO squares.
Don't forget to also check the booklikes deals by genre category for potential freebies. I downloaded (not read, not familiar with authors) these that fit one or more squares:
Not Quite Dead (A Lowcountry Ghost Story) - Lyla Payne
Out of Time Series Box Set (Books 1-3) - Monique Martin
Better Off Wed (Annabelle Archer Wedding Planner Mystery Book 1) - Laura Durham
I would have downloaded this free mystery one except I boycott books (unless an already fave author) whose Amazon descriptions are buried by quoted praises:
