Reading progress update: I've read 38%.
Hero - Leighton Del Mia

"I massage butter over her anus.

Sir, I believe that Fabio has a better alternative.

I'm fading fast. The dub con scene was such an unbelievable whiplash from no to yes that it made me long for some legit monster porn.

Not related to my update, but did I accidentally stumble into p2p without knowing? I'm just curious.

Paula Deen's Southern Cooking Bible: The New Classic Guide to Delicious Dishes with More Than 300 Recipes - Paula H. Deen,Melissa Clark An absolute must have cookbook for when you want some good old southern comfort food. I originally had grabbed this from my library to take a peek (I actually prefer her sons' cookbooks-they are a tad healthier) but couldn't resist this for some of the recipes in there. Plus, all the ones I have done and there have been many have been yummy! I ended up purchasing this cookbook.

Paula Deen & Friends - Paula H. Deen,Martha Nesbit 2.5 stars

Could really use more photos to accompany the recipes as that is usually how I choose a new recipe. But most are good, solid classics and new variations.

Paula Deen: It Ain't All About the Cookin' - Paula H. Deen,Sherry Suib Cohen 3 stars is generous. More like 2.5 only b/c I have fond affection for her first cookbook & numerous memories of eating in her restaurant at it's first location on Congress Street BEFORE she ever hit it big.

Paula Deen: It Ain't All About the Cookin' - Paula H. Deen,Sherry Suib Cohen *read before the controversy* Rating removed but review remains unaltered.I walked by this on the library shelf last year and thought to myself that it might be fun to see what goes on behind the scenes with this "momma" cook. What an interesting peek into the world of someone that spent many years as a shut-in, had enough of a temper to alienate her family, has a very healthy sex drive, and is generally nothing like the image that you see portrayed on television. You go, Ms. Paula! I have a lot more respect for you now after reading your book, than I did while drooling over all the yummy food that you cook up on the tv.
