Pearls Before Swine
I love when books meet fashion.
I loved everything about this movie.
the story. The actors, the acting.
The scenery.
The special effects.
The makeup.
The costumes.
the music.
and yeah, I will be checking out the books now. -- never mind. There are no books. It was only a dream. And a wish.
and I really must have a pair of those boots.
but I made an exception for this one because, you know, it's Time Travel. And now I'm kicking myself because I have to wait. I don't know the release schedule, or how many episodes there are, so who knows how long I'll be twisting in the wind?
anyway, this one follows Joseph, who had a traumatic event in his childhood which left him with a great weight of guilt, a dysfunctional family and an inability to cope with adulthood. He is close to going broke and being homeless when the only friend he has left finally convinces him to see a therapist.
that is "when" things start to get complicated.
Fifty pages in and I can't wait for the complete release.
Three and a half stars.
