POISON DART FROGS by Leanne Annett
Poison Dart Frogs! Kids Book About Frogs: Fun Animal Picture Book For Kids With Interesting Facts & Wildlife Photos (God's Amazing Creation Series) - Leanne Annett

Interesting book that gives basic information about Poison Dart Frogs.  They are found mainly in Central and South America.  The brighter the color the more poisonous they are but they are small.  Their poison was used by natives on their arrow tips.  Poison Dart Frogs are protective of their young.  They also are different in captivity than in the wild.  Some are very aggressive.  They live in different environments.  No two are much the same.  Worth the read.  I like learning new stuff.

ABC ALPHABET FUN by Colin Dickson
ABC ALPHABET FUN. AN ALPHABET BOOK FOR KIDS. - colin dickson

Animals are used to each ABC's.  I liked that the animals were not the usual ones but from the jungles and oceans and different continents also.  The illustrations are colorful and bright.  I also liked how the letter being taught highlights the same letter in the prose on the page through all the words.  Perfect for 2-5 year olds.

Diaries of a Dragon - Beatriz Rare
Once Upon and Ever After - Caroline L. Thornton

Stand outs in this group are

12 Days of Great White Christmas - parody of the 12 days using sharks.  It includes a fact section at the end.  It's quite well done and fun. 5 stars.

Diaries of a Dragon - I wasn't sure about this one, but the artwork and the story match each other pretty darn well. It was sweet. 3.5 stars

Once Upon and Ever After - most likely the best of this batch.  5 stars.  It deals with how the prince is affected by sterotypes as well as princesses.

What the Fox Learnt - pretty good retellings of Aesop tales about foxes.  Three stars.

Champ and Nessie - actually makes good use of Nessie and Champ to teach about earth history. 3 stars

Sun and the Moon - good retelling of the Korean tale.  3 stars

Sophia and the Popcorn Dragon - a bit too cute, but woc so that was cool.  3 stars.

Unicorns, Magic and Slime -predictable but fun.  3 stars

Dollhouse Elf -(not pictured) not bad, predictable.

To be missed

The farting book - the whole thing about dad working around in his boxers was a bit strange.

I Spy - the word scarf is missed spell.

WHITE CAT, BLACK CAT, TWO CATS by Sigal Adler
Book for kids:"WHITE CAT BLACK CAT":Bedt... Book for kids:"WHITE CAT BLACK CAT":Bedtime story, Beginner reader Level-1, Early learning, Values(Childrens Picture Book, Preschool, Baby Book, Children ... 0-8)Cat book, Animal story book, Series 1 - Sigal Adler,Lintang Pandu Pratiwi

Two cats of different colors meet for the first time.  Each is full of disdain for the other based on color.  Then they think and decide to become the other one.  Both discover both are needed and good.  Neither is better than the other.

I liked the rhyming.  It was fun to read aloud.  The illustrations are wonderful.  It teaches a lesson we all need but it doesn't preach.

The Ant Thief: (Story Book for Kids)(Picture Book for Kids)(Beginner Book for Children)(Story Book for Children)(Bedtime Stories)(Children's Picture Book) - Gita V. Reddy,Gita V. Reddy

The Ant Thief by Gita V. Reddy
This illustrated very colorful children's book starts out with Noira the ant and they live in an anthill. Describes the area nearby.
The ants discovered a lot of the things they had collected were now missing and they wanted to find the culprit.
Noira keeps in good shape daily by exercising that enabled her to run and climb trees.
She hated to work so sat and watched all the others gather food. She stole a ring and told others a different story.
Magic things happen next but it's not all good. Lesson of this book is not to steal because you will get caught.
Other works by the author are highlighted at the end.
I received this review copy from the author via Goodreads and this is my honest review
