Every Little Piece of Me (Orchid Valley #1) by: Lexi Ryan
Every Little Piece of Me (Orchid Valley #1) - Lexi Ryan

Every Little Piece of Me by Lexi Ryan

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I don't know how she does it, but I'm hooked. Ryan crafts an epic romance using at it's heart the emotions that drive us. What seems complicated can prove to be quite simple. Every Little Piece of Me examines both sides of the scenario. Marston and Brinley are a dance interrupted. Will their past heartbreak become their present undoing?

Every Little Promise (Orchid Valley #.5) by: Lexi Ryan
Every Little Promise (Orchid Valley #.5) - Lexi Ryan

Escape into a tale of lost love, new hope and perhaps a chance at forever. Brinley and Martson get off to a spellbinding start. Ryan captures the best and worst of what a heart has to offer with deep thought, mesmerizing emotion and unpredictable characters to beautifully, flawed, irresistible journey.

If It's Only Love (The Boys of Jackson Harbor Book 6) by: Lexi Ryan
If It's Only Love (The Boys of Jackson Harbor #6) - Lexi Ryan

Before Shay and East, I never knew love could hurt so good. If It's Only Love is a reminder that it's okay to shed a few tears. Ryan is an ace when it comes to heartache, but equally skilled at romance. Teen infatuation becomes a heartbreaking love story that was years in the making. Will young love get an adult happy ending? Compelling and endearing meets enduring and emotional to create an unforgettable find.

mixed feelings
Lost in Me - Lexi Ryan

Hanna woke up in a hospital and had no memories from the last year of her life after an accidental fall down the stairsThe last thing she remembers is being at Brady’s, having a drink , and trying not to get caught looking at her long time crush Max Halloway. When she comes to in the hospital she is apparently engaged to max and lost about fifty pounds and started a bakery business and she has a silent partner and doesn’t know who it is. She doesn’t remember any of it. The doctor said she had retrograde amnesia. Why is her relationship with her twin sister gone now? After being home she wakes up next to Nate who is a rock star. Is she cheating?

I had mixed feelings about this book. I believe my review will show that. First I didn’t care for Max and was cheering for Nate. But I felt he gave up on Hanna too quick if he really wants her. I hate cliffhangers and this was one. But this made me choke up at times and want to protect HannaI thought this could have a little less sex. I’m not into love triangles . especially when Max seems to be shady to me. So yup mixed feelings on this book.

Spinning Out
Spinning Out (The Blackhawk Boys) - Lexi Ryan

I was a little nervous going in about how much football would be in this book, but luckily football takes a back seat here to the romance. At first, I sped through this book and couldn't put it down, drawn in by the characters and their lives. However, by the end I wasn't putting the book down because it was getting repetitive and I just wanted it to be over. I enjoy a little bit of will-they-won't-they, but when it becomes really obvious they will, any more dithering gets boring. While the mystery aspects had a small twist, I had guessed it earlier, leaving the reveal and the consequent angst somewhat lacklustre.
Overall the writing was engaging and the plot suited the genre well. It was an easy read, not very challenging, but sometimes, that's exactly what you want.
