1. Discover Low Carb Recipes

Dieting can be a difficult task however the internet has definitely made things easier. When looking for good recipes you do not have to flip through books in order to find something good. Now, all that can be found with the click of a button on Google. On the internet there are so many recipes and many come with reviews and ratings from people who tried the recipe and have found ways to improve it? This eases your work as you can find a version of the recipe you like and make it. Low carb diets are no different. There are millions of recipes for low carb diets online. A quick Yahoo or Google search and you have all you need.

When searching for Low Carb Recipes for breakfast all you need is to Google the phrase. There are websites which have broken down recipes into various categories such that breakfast is on its own page with many recipes. Some of the best recipes can be found this way, for instance, while going through someone’s blog, I saw a photo of bacon and egg casserole which looked scrumptious and the recipe was not hard to follow. One basically wraps pieces of bacon inside muffin pans then they crack eggs inside them. For added flavor one can sprinkle cheese on top.

Dessert recipes are also just as easy to find. Once I was intrigued by making a cheesecake with low sugar. The first thing was how I would modify the cheesecake recipe I already knew by converting sugar into sucralose. After making the recipe is when I discovered that there were different variations of this online and I found a way of baking a crust with no carbs for the cake. One just grinds almonds then adds melted butter in order to make a paste which is then slathered on the baking pan’s base. This is a much better alternative to the usual Graham cracker crust.

Many entrees are already low in carbs and do not require conversion. Although it is possible to find such recipes on websites and blogs it is better to search for them in specialty websites. Some foods may not look like they should have any carbs or sugars but there are recipes where the ingredients that are used have them. Sugar can be added to chili or even soup to make it sweeter. You must be vigilant when perusing these recipes so that you don’t end up using ingredients you are staying away from. Specialty blogs also provide ways to substitute different ingredients for instance when making gnocchi with pesto carrots and zucchini you may use potatoes instead of gnocchi.

You might be wondering how you can find the aforementioned specialty blogs. This is not an easy task because when you Google “low carb websites/blogs” you may find numerous blogs that could be outdated. The phrase may also produce too many results that don’t interest you and that you don’t want to go through. The best way is to find one particular blog  on Low Carb Recipes you enjoy. As time goes on, the blog may bring up other bloggers who make similar content. You may also notice bloggers commenting on the blog with tips and suggestions. These would also be great bloggers to check out.

In conclusion, finding Low Carb Recipes online is quick and also easy however when looking for low carbohydrates diet recipes then ensure to follow specialty blogs.

"Quick No-Cook Low Carb Recipes (Low Carb Reference)" by Lisa Shea...
What I liked from the read....
I found this  was a good read for helping with tracking your low carbs.  I liked the presentation...of what  you can do with an egg, tuna, and many other items such as cheese. From simply ingredients and lots of information on ...what, how to do with  celery, olives, low cal. mayonnaise, low carb tortilla, lettuce, cottage cheese, mozzarella balls in oil, nuts in the correct portions, salads, Cole slaw, Ginger Salad Dressing, Spinach, humus and all the way to good salads as well.  Then there are vegetables, bean sprouts to even  pickles were added.  I did like the list of carb counts for a lots of vegetable that I use some even daily.  Juicing was interesting for me because I do have one but haven't use it lately. Smoothies that provide great fiber, protein and Vitamin C are so easily made.  Then I like the introduction of dips and sauces that are so easy to make and even learned about making guacamole dip using  'Edamame.'  I enjoyed the salsa recipe...that was so easy to make. Being told to eat nitrate free turkey, ham and roast beef are good for you along with tuna fish and  shrimp and cocktail sauce was also discussed. For deserts  the Berry Plate  were really quite interesting to make along with Cheese Plates.  I loved this  quote "It's time for us to regain control over our time by connecting with fresh, healthy eating styles"  and this can only be done by each one of us watching what we eat.  The last portion of this book  talked about 'carbohydrates' being one of the four main types of energy that our  body needs  in order to physically burn for fuel also explaining fats, proteins and alcohols.    The summary toward the end dealt with low carb food list, meat/fish, vegetables, fruits, milk, dairy and eggs, nuts and seeds.  When stocking in your low carb pantry you need to clean out the junk food!  OK, my ice cream has to go!   So, to sum it up...things to have in the house is water, lots of cheese, greens and broccoli, (snacking veggies), fresh meat...with nitrates.  Also Vitamins are needed  in your daily diet. This author even went on to explain about low carb spices...I was happy to see I had quite a few of those already in my cabinet. This was interesting...having slow music can even reduce your appetite...wow!  I will try that!  And then the last point given by this author: Reduce Stress to Reduce  Carb Cravings... I found was a interesting read because I really need to reduce stress as well as my carbs.
When I first started reading "Quick No-Cook Low Carb Recipes (Low Carb Reference)" I wasn't sure just what I would be getting from the low carb recipes and all  but I will truly say after reading and thinking about it,  I thought this read was well written by this author.  This author goes into a lot of helpful details and I was made to feel that by reading this book it will help me and maybe even you if you are in need to lower your low carbs intake.  Thank you to the author for an inspiring read!

The Low-Carb Gourmet: Recipes for the New Lifestyle
The Low-Carb Gourmet: Recipes for the New Lifestyle - Brigit Binns Fussy, fussy, fussy. This is the old style gourmet, the kind which requires 43 ingredients, parceled into 126 different additions (and yes, this is hyperbole, any defenders of Binns out there). Some of the recipes looked yummy, but the fussiness of them turned me off. I love to cook. I even love to fuss. But fussing for fussing's sake? No thank you.
