Book Review Banzai: The Unknown Author's Ultimate Guide to Getting Amazon Reviews - Jason Ladd,Julie Gwinn,Tom Morkes

Book Review Banzai: The Unknown Author's Ultimate Guide to Getting Amazon Reviews
Useful information about how authors should approach book bloggers to get their books read and reviewed online.
As a reviewer I'm happy when an author solicits their book for me to read. Hate when they just assume I will read it because they sent it to me. I read a ton, over 700 books this year, some are child, cookbooks, gardening, real 400 page books, wide variety of subjects.
I want to know a bit about the book then I'll decide if I want to read it and post reviews to about 15 different social media sites. Don't push it down my throat, ask me first. Always like a more personal letter, about something we have in common, even weather or geographical location.
The author knows what a blogger is and what an author is and how to match them together.

this might be the best one of the series
SPIRITS OF SEACLIFF MANOR (The Spirit Series Book 4) - Morgan Hannah MacDonald

EVIL LIVES HERE

While restoring an old estate the darkest malevolence known to man is unleashed. Again.

Brandon Barnett has been given the promotion of a lifetime. There’s just one problem; he can’t afford to buy a house in Southern California. Even the apartments cost more than his mortgage.
Then a miracle occurs; a letter arrives informing him he’s inherited the home of his dreams. His grandmother regaled him with stories of summers spent there as a child. Brandon has seen old photographs, the place is magical. It even has a name; Seacliff Manor.

BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU WISH FOR

It’s love at first sight for Brandon, not so much for his wife, Alyssa. The humongous estate needs more than a little TLC to make it inhabitable, but he convinces her they can turn into a Bed & Breakfast. The money will help with the upkeep.

Alyssa Barnett couldn’t wait to move to San Diego. From everything she’d heard it’s paradise on earth; it’s on the ocean and the sun shines year round. She just isn’t keen on living in the monstrosity her husband inherited, but he adores it so she’ll try to make it work.

ALWAYS TRUST YOUR INSTINCTS

The problems mount daily; faucets turn on by themselves, the lights flicker, and there’s rats in the walls. Workmen disappear. Alyssa’s nights are restless; she wakes with tear stained cheeks, but no memory of why. With her husband traveling for work, that leaves Alyssa to tackle the renovations on her own. She’s thrilled when her sister comes for a visit, but her enthusiasm is short lived when Courtney tries to convince Alyssa the old place is haunted.

A hidden room is discovered, along with it clues to the home’s dark past. Things quickly go from bad to worse. Alyssa begins sleepwalking. When she wakes she finds herself in the most peculiar places with no idea how she got there or what she may have done. Then a horrifying supernatural event occurs that can not be ignored. They have no choice but to call an investigative team.

NO ONE IS SAFE

Jane Spencer and Tim Reeves have been doing paranormal research for many years. When Tim barely escapes with his life, Jane calls The Thibodeux Foundation for assistance. They send Jake Spaulding (A demonologist) and Sara Crow (born with the gift of psychometry- she receives visions when holding certain items.) Together they unearth the deadly truth buried at Seacliff Manor, but can this team banish the evil before someone else is murdered?

What did I think:
OMG I loved this one, and I have to say that this one hands down might be my all time favorite of this series, ok so since I can't make up my mind I'm going with that their all me favorites , I love how in each of the books you get to see the character meet up in the next one and so on, love how there is a touch of the LQTB world in her series as well since one of the characters is gay, love the romance that happens but it doesn't take anything away from the stories and the characters keep getting better each time we see them, once again and I don't know how many time I can say this but Morgan Hannah MacDonald has away of bring her stories to life ,so much so that they reach out and grab you , and when that happens your done for , its like she loves missing with your mind , spirit and heart but in a good way, Their the type of stories that you can pick up and read in any order or just read them from book 1 to book 4 and so on, plus their the perfect type of stories to read when its a stormy day or night, what can I say , if you want a story or series that is creepy, hair rising , and keeps you on your edge of your set or bed then this in the series for you, plus they show you that you sound never mess with stuff that you don't understand, so when you read this one or the other keep in mind that there are things out there that we are never going to understand and that its better to leave it a lone , then have some thing bad happen to you, with that said I would love to say thinks to Morgan Hannah MacDonald for send me a copy of her book to read in a change for my honest opinion, which this is 100% , this series is a must read

Once again Morgan Hannah MacDonald has done it again
SPIRITS AMONG US - Morgan Hannah MacDonald

WHAT HE SEES WOULD SCARE YOU TO DEATH

Jon-Luc Boudreaux is in Paris hunting a serial killer. That's nothing new, neither is being haunted by the victims, but watching the murders through the killers eyes, now that's something new entirely.

After she's blacklisted by the fashion industry in New York, Angela Henderson moves to Paris, France. Designing clothes is in her blood and she'll stop at nothing to realize her dream.

HE WILL FIND YOU

Cajun bad boy Jon-Luc Boudreaux is an ex-FBI profiler with a secret. He sees the souls of the recently departed. They can't communicate with him in words. Instead, they point to clues he must decipher on his own. That's how he's achieved the highest rate of solved cases in FBI history. A fact that did not win favor among his superiors or fellow colleagues. After years of enduring questions, rumors, and innuendo, Jon-Luc has left the FBI.

WHEN YOU LEAST

In an effort to determine his next course of action, Jon-Luc heads to Paris to visit an old friend. The moment he arrives, he's asked to assist with a case. It’s Fashion Week and the bodies of mutilated models are being discovered all over the city.

EXPECT IT

Now Jon-Luc is on the hunt for the most diabolical killer he's ever encountered and Angie's next on his list.
What did I think of it:
Once again Morgan Hannah MacDonald has done it again , she delivers romance, mystery and a paranormal adventure all rolled up as one and I don't know how she does it, but each time I pick up a book in this series its harder to pick a favorited out of it, and just like the other two books in this series it gives you that creepy feeling that we've came to love in this series, once you start to read you can't stop , its like a drug , you have to know what happens next, and can I say that I love the heat that's between Angela and Jon-Luc , as with the other two books that I read so far , I read it in one setting, what can I say it kept me guessing , as well as setting on the edge of my bed , with that said I would love to say thinks to Morgan Hannah MacDonald for send me a copy of her book to read in a change for my honest opinion, which this is 100% , this series is a must read .

if you love to be on the edge of your set, and are not afraid of the unexpected, or that creepy sensation then this is the book and series for you.
Spirits Of The Bayou (The Spirits Trilogy) (Volume 3) - Morgan Hannah MacDonald

EVIL HAS A FACE Someone is taking the children of New Orleans. For the last eight months on the night of the full moon there has been an abduction. No bodies have been found. No ransom demands made. Poor or Rich. Black or White. Boy or Girl. The kidnapper does not play favorites. PRAY In this prequel to Spirits Among Us, nineteen year-old Jon-Luc Boudreaux is trying to manage his gift. He’s a psychic medium, in other words he sees the dead. They appear to him like living breathing people. At times it’s hard to know the difference. One night he is visited by the ghost of a young girl named Charlotte. Her message is simple; Save the children. THAT EVIL Jon-Luc has no idea how to do that. He’s not a cop. He knows nothing about finding missing kids. He tries to ignore her, but Charlotte won’t leave him alone until he promises to help. Since her visits started, he’s had some very disturbing visions. When the signs begin to point toward Voodoo, he has no choice but to find an expert. DOES NOT Celestine Glapion is a Voodoo Priestess and a descendant of the great Marie Luveau. The minute Jon-Luc walks into her family’s shop she remembers him, but he has no memory of her. So when Mama Arelia tells her she must help with this crisis, she’s reluctant to work side-by-side with Jon-Luc. But she’ll do anything for the sake of those innocent lives. FIND YOU Their journey takes them to the underbelly of New Orleans where dark magic lives. Jon-Luc escapes death not once, but twice and still he pushes on. Knowing time is running out, the kidnapper speeds up the schedule. Now the children’s lives hang in the balance and only Jon-Luc holds the key to their survival. Can he rescue them in time? What did I think 5 stars First off I would love to think the author for giving me a chance at reading and review Spirits of the Bayou (The Spirits Trilogy, #3) in a change for my honest opinion, which this is 100%,what that said lets get going; Even though this is book 3 and the first time I ever picked anything up by Morgan Hannah MacDonald , I'm so glad that I did, there's some thing about her writing style that just reaches out and grabs you and pulls you in to the story and won't let go at all, its captivated from the beginning to end,has a way of bringing the characters to life before your eyes, it's also chilling and terrifying, because it gives you a inside view and describes what Louisiana Voodoo, also known as New Orleans Voodoo is, plus its gives you the background of Jon-Luc as his learning about his gift and how to use it, and did I mention that it has Lots of unexpected, moments that gives you a creeping sensation on your skin that cause the hair on your arms to raise, and when you think that that your at a non creepy part of the book , she laughs at you and say I'm not do with you get, so just set back and hold on to your chair and enjoy the ride, because that's when she throws more surprises at you ,so if you love to be on the edge of your set, and are not afraid of the unexpected, or that creepy sensation then this is the book and series for you
