I Love This Twisted Rancid Series
Robert Kirkman's The Walking Dead: Return to Woodbury (The Walking Dead Series) - Jay Bonansinga,Robert Kirkman

I love this series ! Picture a certain crazed actor jumping on the couch of TV Talk Queen professing his love, that's how I feel about this series. Each book has taken me to my ultimate dark dank putrid happy place. Oh the characters, they are so real, complete and sometimes nuttier than a fruit cake, it's fantastic ! Lilly, sweet little Lilly, what have you turned into ?    I admit to wishing her dead back in the early books. She was so pitiful, weak and stupid back then. I really am too quick to judge, shame on me.  So Lilly is the unexpected MC of this book, she leads several of her groupies from the clean comfort of a Swedish mega store and back to Woodbury.  She misses her old sweet home. What ? You'd have to drag my Swedish Meatball Stuffed body out by the ankles. So they leave comfort heaven to head back to the past, and the past is really rancid and mad.

We have a new ultra level of nutter join or crew of unhappy red shirt travelers. Yup, there are a lot of red shirts, dying all over the place. It's TWD and so much better than the TV show.

The ending was a shocker, I never saw that coming. I cried  like a baby, ugly tears, you know scrunched up face, twisted and pained snorts coming from a dark deep pain.  Now where is the next book ?

Love Lessons (Love Lessons, #1) by Heidi Cullinan
Love Lessons: Love Lessons Series, Book 1 - Heidi Cullinan,Iggy Toma

Love doesn’t come with a syllabus.

Kelly Davidson has waited forever to graduate high school and get out of his small-minded, small town. But when he arrives at Hope University, he realizes finding Prince Charming isn’t so easy. Everyone here is already out. In fact, Kelly could be the only virgin on campus. Worst of all, he’s landed gay campus Casanova as a roommate, whose bed might as well be equipped with a revolving door.

Walter Lucas doesn’t believe in storybook love. Everyone is better off having as much fun as possible with as many people as possible…except his shy, sad little sack of a roommate is seriously screwing up his world view. As Walter sets out to lure Kelly out of his shell, staying just friends is harder than he anticipated. He discovers love is a crash course in determination. To make the grade, he’ll have to finally show up for class…and overcome his fear that love was never meant to last.

Review

am pretty convinced that Heidi Cullinan can't write a bad book,.

This is a lovely New Adult romance with a shy hero and and a not shy hero. The hero with the chip on his shoulder ends up being super nurturing and kind. The shy hero ends up being mega sexy.

I love this romance which looks at intimacy and falling in love along with the real dramas of becoming a grown up.

Good stuff!

Great Read
Let There Be Love (The Sled Dog Series) ... Let There Be Love (The Sled Dog Series) (Volume 1) - Melissa Storm

Let There Be Love by Melissa Storm is an entertaining read.  Ms. Storm has given us a well-written book loaded with amazing characters. Lauren found a box with memories of dog sled racing in a closet after her father is killed in an auto accident.  She knew nothing about his life as a racer and goes to Alaska to investigate.  Shane was injured in a snowmobile accident and Lauren is hired to help with the dogs while he recovers.  Their story is full of drama, suspense and bits of humor.  This is a clean read, appropriate for any age.  I enjoyed reading Let There Be Love and look forward to my next book by Melissa Storm.  Let There Be Love is book 1 of The Sled Dog Series but can be read as a standalone.  This is a complete book, not a cliff-hanger.

Cute
A Suite Geek (Suite Love Series, Book Three) - Sue Gibson

A Suite Geek by Sue Gibson is an entertaining read.  Ms Gibson has provided us with a fun story.  Christy is the Recreational Director at Nirvana and is determined to help geeky Edward become less socially challenged.  The characters in this book are fun and lovable.  There’s plenty of drama, humor and spice to keep the pages turning.  A Suite Geek is book 3 in the Suite Love Series but can be read as a standalone.  This is a complete book, not a cliff-hanger.

For Life or Until: Love and Warfare series book 1 - Anne Garboczi Evans,Heather McCurdy,Gregg Bridgeman

For Love or Until by Anne Garboczi Evans
This story starts out with Ness, a Celt and she's warming the water. Cedric loves her since forever. He wants to set up his farmland before he asks for her hand.
She plans her farmland and wants to raise sheep and weave the wool.
After the dance she's informed he had asked someone else to marry another girl.
The Roman tribune, Aquillus wants to marry her to raise their children as Romans and she accepts in retaliation of not being wed by Cedric.
She thought she'd be closer to her family but is not within days of their location any longer. She tries to befriend women and they just hate her, like she's from the wrong side of the tracks.
She has to go through so much pain and heartbreak and you wonder if the couple will ever be happy at all...
Parts that struck me the most were those of what she has to do to survive for her children and herself as she lends to the fields. She follows her passions and something she always wanted to do.
Like that after the Latin phrases are spoken they are translated in English so you can not left in the dark. Enjoyed listening to their traditions as they are explained.
Love the travel and that she had brought seeds for the land she was moving to. Love that knitting is mentioned and things other make and sell to make money for the family.
Love learning new words as I look them up to find out what they mean.
Excerpt from the second book in this series is included.
Received this review copy from the publisher Olivia Kimbrell Press via Bookfun.org and this is my honest review.
