Love is the Cure (Hawaiian Paradise Series Book 1)
Love is the Cure (Hawaiian Paradise Series Book 1) - Kiana Lee Kiana Lee steps into the spotlight in a major way with Love is the Cure. Once you meet Nate and Jessie there's no turning back. It's hard to take your eyes off of this pair. Set in one the most beautiful locations in the world,Hawaii, these two find solace in the environment and later in each other. Nate needs to learn to slow down and de-stress. Jessie learns how to trust in herself again and find happiness in the current moment, not the distant past. The journey is long and the payoff can be slow, but the sweetness of the delivery gives the heart something to sing about. A soothing balm.

Let There Be Love (The Sled Dog Series Book 1) - Melissa Storm

Let There Be Love by Melissa Storm
Starts with offer of a free gift Lauren has just gotten news that her father had died and she thinks that is impossible. they had just exchanged Christmas gifts.
She quits her job because her boss wouldn't give her time off from work and prepares her fathers affairs.
Memory boxes of their life are in his closet but she finds one about Alaska and dog sledding which she knew nothing about.
All kinds of newspaper clipping and she starts to understand about his other life. One of Shane and his dogs but he's injured and needs a handler. Her dad was one of the top best.
Wicked funny he has rules set for her while she's living at his house tending to the dogs and training...
Love learning about the terminology of the mushers as she investigates her father and Shane's lives in Alaska.
Fire makes him fire her and she leaves ... she thinks she is good with the dogs and agrees to help him when he comes back.
They both have hidden pasts that come to light and they have a lot of turmoil to get through, alone or together?
Next book involves Scarlett. Loved how this story came about. Other works by the author are highlighted at the end.
Review copy from the author and this is my honest opinion.

I Love This Twisted Rancid Series
Robert Kirkman's The Walking Dead: Return to Woodbury (The Walking Dead Series) - Jay Bonansinga,Robert Kirkman

I love this series ! Picture a certain crazed actor jumping on the couch of TV Talk Queen professing his love, that's how I feel about this series. Each book has taken me to my ultimate dark dank putrid happy place. Oh the characters, they are so real, complete and sometimes nuttier than a fruit cake, it's fantastic ! Lilly, sweet little Lilly, what have you turned into ?    I admit to wishing her dead back in the early books. She was so pitiful, weak and stupid back then. I really am too quick to judge, shame on me.  So Lilly is the unexpected MC of this book, she leads several of her groupies from the clean comfort of a Swedish mega store and back to Woodbury.  She misses her old sweet home. What ? You'd have to drag my Swedish Meatball Stuffed body out by the ankles. So they leave comfort heaven to head back to the past, and the past is really rancid and mad.

We have a new ultra level of nutter join or crew of unhappy red shirt travelers. Yup, there are a lot of red shirts, dying all over the place. It's TWD and so much better than the TV show.

The ending was a shocker, I never saw that coming. I cried  like a baby, ugly tears, you know scrunched up face, twisted and pained snorts coming from a dark deep pain.  Now where is the next book ?

Love Lessons (Love Lessons, #1) by Heidi Cullinan
Love Lessons: Love Lessons Series, Book 1 - Heidi Cullinan,Iggy Toma

Love doesn’t come with a syllabus.

Kelly Davidson has waited forever to graduate high school and get out of his small-minded, small town. But when he arrives at Hope University, he realizes finding Prince Charming isn’t so easy. Everyone here is already out. In fact, Kelly could be the only virgin on campus. Worst of all, he’s landed gay campus Casanova as a roommate, whose bed might as well be equipped with a revolving door.

Walter Lucas doesn’t believe in storybook love. Everyone is better off having as much fun as possible with as many people as possible…except his shy, sad little sack of a roommate is seriously screwing up his world view. As Walter sets out to lure Kelly out of his shell, staying just friends is harder than he anticipated. He discovers love is a crash course in determination. To make the grade, he’ll have to finally show up for class…and overcome his fear that love was never meant to last.

am pretty convinced that Heidi Cullinan can't write a bad book,.

This is a lovely New Adult romance with a shy hero and and a not shy hero. The hero with the chip on his shoulder ends up being super nurturing and kind. The shy hero ends up being mega sexy.

I love this romance which looks at intimacy and falling in love along with the real dramas of becoming a grown up.

Good stuff!

Great Read
Let There Be Love (The Sled Dog Series) ... Let There Be Love (The Sled Dog Series) (Volume 1) - Melissa Storm

Let There Be Love by Melissa Storm is an entertaining read.  Ms. Storm has given us a well-written book loaded with amazing characters. Lauren found a box with memories of dog sled racing in a closet after her father is killed in an auto accident.  She knew nothing about his life as a racer and goes to Alaska to investigate.  Shane was injured in a snowmobile accident and Lauren is hired to help with the dogs while he recovers.  Their story is full of drama, suspense and bits of humor.  This is a clean read, appropriate for any age.  I enjoyed reading Let There Be Love and look forward to my next book by Melissa Storm.  Let There Be Love is book 1 of The Sled Dog Series but can be read as a standalone.  This is a complete book, not a cliff-hanger.
