Humbug by Joanna Chambers
Humbug - Joanna Chambers

This is the perfect holiday novella!

It's short, it's funny, it takes place over a short span of time and there is some character involvement going on that warmed my heart to the core. Because let me tell you: Quinn is a piece of work in the beginning. But my heart still broke a little for him when he got it from all sides, all at once. On the other hand, he really needed a wake-up call! And boy did he wake up and found his heart. I found myself rooting for him so hard in the end.

I really enjoyed this one! Sweet, sexy, filled to the brim with Christmas spirit. It was a perfect holiday read - even a month or so too late!

Sock it to Me, Santa! by Madison Parker
Sock it to Me, Santa! - Madison Parker

So freakin' ADORABLE!

Maaaaan, I loved this! Ryan had to figure out three personal presents as secret santa for non other than Jamie Peterson. The same Jamie he secretly watched, but openly didn't stand up for when fellow students or his own best friend make fun of him. Quite the opposite, since they usually pick on him because Jamie's gay and out, while Ryan is... not.

This was unbelievably sweet, darned cute and sooo adorable. I loved Ryan. He was the epitome of a young guy, not yet a man, but not a boy anymore - who was trying so very hard to find himself, deal with his hormones and not hurt anyone in the process. He wasn't perfect. He made mistakes and had regrets. But deep down he's such a good guy and it showed again and again. Plus, I freakin' loved his sparkly rainbow spider! Dang, the cuteness was killing me.

This book is only a short read, but it's full of promise, feelings and tenderness. I absolutely loved it, and that's saying something since I'm not the biggest fan of CoA & YA stories. Seriously, if you're in the mood for a little holiday spirit, but mostly sweetness and great MCs, pick this one up!

The Dotted Line
The Dotted Line - Nick Pageant

- 4 Laughing Stars -

Ha, this was short, cute and hilarious! NOthing deep or personal, but with the right amount of feelings to make it work for me. Just abandon all rationality as soon as you pick this up, and it's gonna be a very fun ride. Jimmy is adorable, Pete is sweet and there is no way you can't love the smartass little devil with the huge dong.

So good, so sexy, so funny. The perfect little read for inbetween.

Home for the Holidays: A Doubleback Holiday Short Story
Home for the Holidays: A Doubleback Holiday Short Story - Lissa Ford

I love Jude. Not much more to add.

There wasn't a lot of meat to this story's bones. But I didn't really care, because I absolutely adore Jude. Rowan is sweet and all, and his idea was great. But Jude is Jude, and I love to read about him in any way I can.

That's all there is to it, really. If you liked the first two books in the series, pick this one up. Simply because JUDE.

Strip, Please
Strip, Please - Jena Wade

4 Bookworm Undercover Stars!

I loved the initial situation of this story so much! Is it a little ridiculous? Hell, yes! But is it FUN! And so well written, I couldn't stop reading. A book worm with questionable people skills most of the time, goes undercover as stripper in order to help out his cop family, meets the new guy on the force. The one with a big heart and the need to prove himself. What's not to like?

Nothing too heavy, despite the underlying themes, and also a little sexy. Cute and entertaining, and definitely recommended!
