The popular first-person shooter game of id Software, Doom, has been brought back in a whole new version known as Doom Eternal. Following attributes of its predecessor, Doom eternal is also famous for its weapons. The game contains a series of mysterious keys that can unlock the door to the most potent weapon of this game. In the following article, we are going to discuss with the gamers about ways to find all the mysterious keys, also known as Empyrean Key.

Locations of All Empyrean Keys

There is a total number of six keys to collect to obtain the potent weapon through a slayer gate. These six keys lie at six distinctive locations, and these locations are missions that gamers need to complete to access to slayer gate. Below we have mentioned each of them specifically.

• Quest 9: Taras Nabad.
• Quest 7: Mars Core.
• Quest 6: Arc Complex.
• Quest 5: Super Gore Nest.
• Quest 3: Cultist Base.
• Quest 2: Exultia.

Exultia Quest

The gamers need to access the cave that is situated on the right side of Hellscape. Thereafter, gamers need to jump across the platform to fund the key. Once the gamers find the key, then they need to unlock the first slayer gate and accomplish its quest.

Cultist Base Quest

The gamers need to jump across the walls until they reached the grabbable wall. The wall will take them down to a tunnel; they need to keep on walking until a room appears. The key is hidden inside the room; gamers need to locate it. Once they located it successfully, then they need to use the key to enter the second slayer gate and accomplish the mission inside it.

Super Gore Nest Quest

The third key is lies inside a tunnel that is pink in color. The gamers need to go to the subsequent tunnel and obtain the key. Thereafter, the gamers need to use all three keys to unlock the third slayer gate. After that, gamers need to complete the mission.

Arc Complex Quest

The gamers need to go towards the skyscraper and knock down all the foes that hinder them. Thereafter, they need to go to Atrium near the wall. The key is lying on the wall, jump, and obtain it. Use the key and unlock the fourth gate to complete the appear challenging.

Mars Core Quest

The gamers have to visit the Doom slayer that is situated near the large rocks. Thereafter, the gamers need to tap the button lies inside it. The button will pop-up a whole new way and platform. Gamers need to go towards the platform as the key lies upon it. Grab the key and unlocking the fifth slayer gate and complete the appear quest.

Taras Nabad Quest

The gamers need to navigate to Catacombs and then require to move into the sewage area. The gamers will find the key inside one of the water tunnels inside the Catacombs sewage system. Gamers need to grab the key and access to the last slayer gate.

Once the gamers obtain all the keys alongside completed all the missions, then they need to get back to the Doom fortress to grab the potent weapon. Once the gamers, successfully reached to the Fortress, an animated video will play, and soon after, the gamers will be rewarded by the subsequent weapon. The weapon is known as maker race, and it is one of the most powerful weapons in Doom Eternal.

Doom Eternal is available to be played on PC, Xbox One, Google Stadia, Nintendo Switch, and PS4.

The Heartland Trilogy #1

I requested this book a while ago, cause it was available until July 14th. But then I never took the time to read it, shame on me. I should have read it earlier because this book was really good. 

 

The Heartland is a country ravaged by Corn. The Corn is the only thing the Empyrean allow the citizens to grow and Cael just can't take it anymore. The Heartlanders are hungry, poor and tired of their oppressor. Cael, the captain of the Big Sky Scavengers, will discover something that will give him some hope.

 

The setting of this book was really great. It was quite easy to picture the Heartland because it was so well described. I had some trouble understanding what was happening at first because the beginning was fast without any world building. But I liked it because it made this book more realistic and fluid. You discover bits by bits who are the Empyrean and what the political system is.

 

Cael is a nice character, he's not a hero (not yet anyway, I don't know what's going to happen next), he seems human and I liked that. I'm sick of characters saving the world and being nice and cute etc. Cael has flaws, he's angry and he does not always think a lot before acting. That's how humans really are. It was a major plus in this book.

 

Unfortunately the rest of the trilogy has been archived on Netgalley, but I'm definitely going to purchase the two other books to know what is going to happen in this thrilling story!

I'm quite glad that I gave this book a chance. I knew as soon as I read the first chapter that it would be the kind of book I would want to finish in only a couple of sittings. Hence, the iPad began to travel with me wherever I went for a couple of days so that I could read during any free moments I could spare. The opening of the book is a bit brutal but this is part of what makes it hard to put down. It grabbed me right from the beginning. Lily, the main character, is portrayed well. Her role as a girl whose parents were brutally murdered is believable. I felt connected to her emotions as she moved between anguish, fury, hopelessness, and fear while she tried to cope with her drastically changing world. Her companion and supporter, Alec, helps her to deal with what is happening to her as she searches for the Fae who killed her family. They make a great team and his story is as tragic as hers. They compliment each other nicely. The setting was lovely and not overwhelming to the senses. I enjoyed reading about the cities and villages and hearing the history of the world and the fears about what would befall it in the future if no one stood up to save it. I also liked that the romance between the two main characters isn't always at the forefront of the story and the characters are flawed and not cookie cutter perfect in appearance or actions. They are on a mission and have no qualms about what needs to be done to avenge their loved ones. There is some violence but I think this added a nice edge to the story. I'm really looking forward to the next book and also hoping that the characters get to stay together in the story since they have already experienced so much loss. A girl can hope!

“That’s life in the Heartland.”

What’s life in the Heartland like? Monster corn that isn’t even safe to eat is the only crop that isn’t outlawed, floating cities above that treat the Heartlanders like slaves, and having your spouse chosen by the Empyrean government even if you’re in love with another. Life in the Heartland seems to be a shitty existence. Of course you can always hope you win the lottery and get to join the Empyrean elite on the sky flotillas…but how likely is that?

Something about this book that I couldn’t quite put my finger on had me drawn in right away. I cared for all the characters even with just a brief introduction, nothing makes a story more fun than feeling emotionally invested in it. I rooted for the guys I liked, and against the ones I didn’t. In the end, I loved this book and didn’t want it to end. I’m going to read the second book as soon as possible!

This isn’t your standard young adult book with stupid unbelievable romance, crappy dialogue, and many of the other annoyances that riddle the genre. This was a well written (I read an uncorrected proof and it was better than some finished copies I’ve read lately) entertaining world that you can become to feel a part of. I’m a new Wendig fan because of this book!

   Months ago I started reading Chuck Wendig's blog I enjoy it so much I decided I needed to read one of his fiction books.  This looked like a good one to start with. Its a Dystopian YA with corn that is taking over and maybe thirsty for blood, Hobos, a lottery, action, Elite people living in the sky.mystery, a disease that turns people into some kind of vegetable monster and lots of rebellion. 

 

  The characters live in The Heartland where everything seems to revolve around genetically modified corn. Corn that is taking ever and runs everything. Corn that if you stand in it too long might actually kill you. Corn that seems to give you tumors. It gives me a whole new reason besides The Children of The Corn movies not to go in cornfields.  There is an Obligation Ceremony these kids have to attend to find out who they are going to marry by having a piece of paper drawn.  They also have a lottery in which if your name gets drawn you get to live with the Empyreans in the sky. At first it seems like an amazing thing but the more you read the more it seems like it would be better just to remain in the Heartland.  

 

I enjoyed reading about the different family backgrounds of the kids. Some was heartbreaking and some was heartwarming. 

 

I'm interested in reading more about this world and to see if Cael succeeds in his missions. 

 

Now I have to say the parts I listened to on audiobooks was wonderful. The narrator did a great job even if I think he made the girls voices a little weird sounding (a little whiney and screechy), but I doubt I could do a great job with male voices.  

 

Overall I enjoyed this book and look forward to continuing the series. Probably ,like this time, I'll listen to the audio and read it.
