Another Stephanie Plum...not as funny as some of the other ones, and left me feeling more annoyed than usual at Stephanie's double love life.

I enjoyed many of the Stephanie Plum series when I was a teenager and young adult. However, now that I'm older and have read a few of the more recent additions, I'd have to say I'm a little disappointed. There hasn't been much character development or movement forward. It's hard to disagree with the guy from the fire department isn't it? You wonder the same about Ranger, too. W...

Stephanie never got better at her job, she forgot her gun most of the time, her car would get trashed, the Buick survived any catastrophe, Grandma Mazur attended a viewing a...

Takedown Twenty was a very quick and fun read. Grandma kept me in stitches, along with Lula. This was one of the best in the series.

It's like visiting an old friend whenever I read a new Stephanie Plum. It's just a funny cozy mystery. She and Lula are trying to pick up bad guys. Lula has become obsessed with Kevin, the giraffe. Stephanie may try her hand at being a butcher. She's working with Ranger trying to solve the myst...

More of the same. You can skip this book as nothing really happens in the Morelli/Ranger triangle and the plot is even more predictable than usual. I gave this book 3 stars because if you haven't read the nineteen previous books it might have been okay. Also, I'm hoping that JE can pull it together ...
