Started off slow but finally kicked off. :)The series is getting a bit repetitive and boring, but I still reaaalllyy enjoy reading it!! YES SHE FINALLY LET HIM IN Woo. Cheers for Owen!!
I've read the book in 4 hours! Why? Because half of it was the same over and over and over again. I believe that many paragraphs were actually copy/paste from the previous books. sloppy, sloppy, sloppy miss Estep
Gin just gets more kick-ass with each book in the series. Still have mad love for Finn, but have to say Owen is coming up strong. Was ready to kick Bria in the teeth when she didn't accept Gin as quickly as I wanted. Glad she finally got the stick out of her ass and accepted her big sis!
The plot was simple yet epic. It wasn't complicated with nuances and twists and there's not a lot to summarise of it without going outright into spoilers. Gin has reached the final showdown. Her or Mab. Mab has been targetting her sister too often and while Gin can hide her identity and be the ghost...
Gin gets into the savior mode, rescuing a small girl from a terrible outcome. She puts herself in front of a hired assassin, hired to kill her. In this installment of Elemental Assains, Gin Blanco our favorite assassin has declared open season on Mab Monroe. As Gin has been steadily taking out Mab’s minions, Mab has fired back by sending the best assassin LaFleur after the Spider. Meanwhile Gin is also fighting an emotional battle with her ...
I like that most of the characters in this series have normal jobs. The little details make a difference. This installment progresses the story and sets up for the end of the first arc in the next book. As always, I recommend starting with the first book.
Actual rating 3.5Original review: http://onabookbender.com/2011/12/23/review-tangled-threads-by-jennifer-estep/Because I got Web of Lies, Venom, and Tangled Threads during one library trip, I attempted to read them over a single weekend. This strategy worked great for reading Web of Lies and Venom,...
Another great story featuring Gin Blanco aka the assassin "The Spider". I love the characters and the world that Ms. Estep has created with Giants, Vampires, and Elemental's. Can't wait for the next story!
