When she decides to retire from Brunswick's special forces, Captain Audra Taylor easily lands a paper pushing job on a gate control station, but when the Unity decides to start a galactic war, Taylor finds herself at the very tip of the spear. With the first shots fired in her control room, Taylor isn't sure she will survive. As her station is boarded and Unity forces flood the system, Taylor confronts the stark reality of her own defeat.
