I know this book has a lot of great reviews, and while I loved the characters and the basic premise, the editing was horrible, and I felt the story kind of went of the rails in a few places, so I can't justify giving it more than 3 stars. Sad, because this was totally heading for a 4.5 in the beginn...

You know I couldn't resist that cover. I absolutely Loved this book!Texas Pride is about a sexy actor tired of being in the limelight who runs off to Texas, to the town he grew up in to become a rancher. There he meets his neighbor who to his joy turns out to be a super hot cowboy (drool) who's bur...

Meh.. I didn't hate it, but it was totally predictable, cheesy as hell, and the characters' voices sounded compleletely incongruous at times, at least compared to how they were originally presented. The erotic scenes were graphic, but amateurish and not really hot.. Overall, I finished it for lack o...

2.5 StarsThis could have been so much better. Great premise where closeted Hollywood actor meets closeted hunky rancher. Both guys are gorgeous (obviously) fall in love DESPERATELY and attempt to keep the closet firmly bolted from the inside. The writing is engaging but spoiled by shoddy editing. Th...

I want to see the light instead of the darkness I felt.To be free can be sc...

A good read but very slow paced. This book was a good mm romance. I think it only started to pick up at roughly 30% of the book. The plot line of the award winning actor was quite unbelievable but still acceptable, yet it was annoying to read about all the security and surveillance of this Hollywood ...

The first 20% or so were great and I had big hopes. They crashed and burned pretty fast.It became sappy and predictable.
there's more to life than reading books
2.5 stars. This one just wasn't for me. Even ignoring the typos and grammar mistakes, the story is too long and the characters weren't developed enough for me to like them or understand their decisions. The closeted cowboy character was OK, except for his constant indecisiveness and lack of confiden...

Its a cute, cheesy romantic book. It has an handsome actor, a hot good looking rancher hence what's not to like? Both the main characters are closeted and this is their story of how they fall in love hide it from everybody and how they deal with it when everybody come to know about it.
