Every single day in life there are Western men arriving in Thailand for the first time, and contrary to opinion, they are not all sex tourists. Many arrive here determined to not get entwined with the local ladies. Alas, far too many not only get entwined, they get trapped, cocooned, and sucked dry by the professional black widow spiders that frequent the red light areas.
This, though, is not a book about hookers in Thailand. There's enough of them out there already. The book does cover a couple of the more stunningly ridiculous situations that men can find themselves in when dealing with bar girls, but it's much more than that.
The first chapter is The Rule Of Man. We Westerners have an expectation of the police and the court system that you will not find in Thailand. It's a shock to the system, and applies to everyone that visits Thailand. Male and female alike. Some of the advice may look like common sense to you-; you would be amazed at the amount of people that lack it. Or even more to the point, "leave their brains at the airport." Normally sensible people do ludicrous things, and take risks they would never take back home.
The information in this book could literally save your life, if not just your life savings.
