Probably one of the best, if not THE best, of all the short story collections.

I have been on a Sherlock Holmes spree for the past couple of weeks. I have watched probably 10 movies and am in the process of reading every story that Sir Arthur Conan Doyle ever wrote about Holmes. While Holmes (almost) always solves his case, the stories never seem to grow monotonous. Sir Art...

There were a few good stories, and overall the Holmes' series benefits from the short story format, but it's still so tedious.

Nice collection of Sherlock Holmes stories, a couple of stories not to the standards of some of the others hence 3 stars instead of 4.

It was good. quite good actually, even though i am not usually interested in thriller or detective stories. But i had to read Sherlock Holmes.A few stories are somewhat lackadaisical. A few have too abrupt an ending. esp the famous ones, like A Scandal in Bohemia. And I don't understand what is the ...

This is probably one of the best gifts my sibling have given me so far:D I just love Holmes, and I feel sorry the movies fail to portray the charm of the books.
