This "true" story is about as scary as a Ke$ha/Charlie Sheen lovechild. It's terrifying... but it's not the baby's fault. It was created out of a union of glitter-vomit and Tiger Blood. Mama SLutz is an attention whore just in it for the money and notoriety, and Daddy is a talentless hack who just ...

This book really scared the pants off me when I first read it. Whether or not you really believe the events described in the book really happened (I don't) is irrelevant. This is a scary book whether you read it as journalism or fiction. The tone, the pacing, the descriptions of the supernatural eve...

This is bad in so many ways. First, it is fiction masquerading as fact. I read this while my best friend went out on a date to see the movie. It was no doubt a very natural progression from the VC Andrews books.

A terrible mess of a book labelled incorrectly as non-fiction (read here lies) in order to sell books/movies. Because of the "true" nature of the narrative Anson displays a complete lack of skill in handling the haunted house formula while at the same time unshackling the story from some of its com...
