Steamy reads with a dollop of magic, mystery and hot... hot men
To compare this book to Graceling? NO WAY.This is fluff... an annoying fluff at that. The first three chapters or so are excellent. We meet our heroine, she's all kind of bad, calculating how to kill everyone she meets in an instant. After spending a year in the mines after being betrayed she's righ...

The plot was pretty good. The main character had some unique dynamics to her. She had a feminine side despite she being a cold blooded killer. The book could have done without the romance and the love triangle. The writing could use a lot of work. She definitely needed an editor. If she did have one...

I just thought this book was okay. Too much focus went on the "love triangle" and not enough on the plot. It wasn't too horrible, though. To read my full review, click here.

It only got this high a rating because it's got Nehemia in it. Otherwise, it was exceptionally worthless.

This is clearly YA, and readers should keep it in mind before picking this up. Also, it's partial to the romance side of things (not to mention, everyone looks beautiful and always "awfully young". No self-respecting character here deigns to be above the better side of twenty, unless absolutely nece...

Throne of Glasswww.reviewoffantasy.comRating: 5 StarsIt took me a while to get into this story. Celaena the main character wasn’t easy to warm too, I was very conflicted about her and it took me to have read 40% of the book before I fell in love with the person she was. Her story is so sad the more ...
