My heart broke for her as she lost Sam and it broke once more as ...

What even is this cover:Whew, good thing she remembered to pluck her eyebrows and get her mascara right before going out murderin'. (By which I mean to say that, yes, this cover is the one that drew me in: and I am appalled that any other was considered.)

The banter is fun though!Celaena is an intriguing character. She's a "world-famous" assassin and she's haughty, arrogant, and likes to tease and ril...

Well, I don't know what happened. I loved it in the beginning, I felt bored in the middle and I was totally annoyed at the end. I'd like to think I'm an expert in YA books, but I'm not. So here I go trying to explain why this book didn't work for me: If you know me a little, you know I LOVE strong...
