This book was better than the first. More excitement and not too predictable :)

I actually really enjoyed this one. I read the first book in the series last year and it didn't really grab my attention. But I am a huge fan of Kelley Armstrongs Otherworld series so I thought I should give the Darkest Powers series another chance. At first it didn't seem like much was happening, b...

I read it very fast. And it is definitely better than the first one. Chloe is really growing up from the little girl she was before. And I'm starting to like Derek a lot, I hope something to happen between him and Chloe. And right now I'm starting the last book.

This middle book in the Darkest Powers series is essentially a journey book. The characters have escaped from the scientists of the Edison Group and are searching for the boys' father and then for a friend of the boys' father. They learn why the Edison Group wants them and they learn about their pow...
