Main reason I gave in and bought this was for the short story about Zsadist Bella and Nalla. I can't get enough of those three. Adorable angsty gorgeous little family.
The Black Dagger Brotherhood: An Insider's Guide is a great addition to the series and one I'd highly recommend to BDB fans. It does contain spoilers for the earlier books in the series though so make sure you've read at least as far as Lover Enshrined (book 6) before you pick this one up. The guide...
English Review: I am a fan of Ward since the first book and therefore I’ve been looking forward to this book for a long time, to get also a look ‘behind the scenes‘ and to get to know more about the world of the Black Daggers. However, the whole book is hard to be rated or reviewed because every cha...
I have to tell you, I never buy guides to books. They always feel like a combination of rehash and filler. And to be honest, I didn't buy this one either. (A friend lent it to me.) But I did buy the ebook version of the "Father Mine" novella. Had it not been available, I would have bought the whol...

If you're a member of J.R.'s official BDB forum, then you may be familiar with some of the pieces in this compilation, such as the Slices of Life pieces and the Brothers on the message boards. But even if you are, that doesn't mean you should skip...

Bella is struggling with the demands of a young infant, the insecurities of being a new parent, and postpartum body issues. Zsadist is als...

I skipped the letter and section that showed what she ...
