Frankly, I had to move this from my "thriller" shelf to the more mundane "mystery" shelf. Harry Bosch is a great cop but Connelly doesn't move the story much for the first several hundred pages. I enjoyed this book more than the first in the series. The book had an exciting start, that pulled you into the story. Lots of action, twists, and background information on Bosch in this novel.

Second in the Harry bosch series. An entertaining page-turner that gets a little corny when Harry starts making goo-goo eyes at the widow of a recently slain cop.
