Lacking the funs for a London season-yet determined to see her younger siblings suitably matched--lovely widow Felicity Harrison establishes herself in Bath, a grand dame at the tender age of twenty-four. However, her brother's gaming debts soon force her to accept a most unusual proposal from handsome nabob Thomas Moreland. He agrees to repay all debts provided she help him--and his sister--gain social standing in Bath. Though there is something oddly familiar about this gentleman, Felicity agrees to the proposal. Having made a fortune in India, Thomas has returned home to win the heart of the lady who captured his own six years ago. Like an angel of mercy, Felicity had come to his aid after highwaymen left him for dead. But will he ever make Felicity forget the husband for whom she still wears widows' weeds?
