Iris Scanlon, Half-Moon Hollow's only daytime vampire concierge, knows more about the undead than she'd like. Running all their daylight errands--from letting in the plumber to picking up some chilled O neg--gives her a look at the not-so-glamorous side of vampire life. Her rules are strict; relationships with vamps are strictly business, not friendship--and certainly not anything else. But then she finds her newest client, Cal, poisoned on his kitchen floor, and only Iris can help. Cal - who would be devastatingly sexy, if Iris allowed herself to think that way - offers Iris a hefty fee for hiding him at her place until he figures out who wants him permanently dead. Even though he's imperious, unfriendly and doesn't seem to understand the difference between "employee" and "servant," Iris agrees, and finds herself breaking more and more of her own rules to help him - particularly those concerning nudity. Turns out what her quiet little life needed was some intrigue & romance--in the form of her very own stray vampire.

She was dropping off the contract for a new client when she found him on his kitchen floor. After offering her a...

3.5 Vampires v Werewolves
First finished item I'm slotting in for Vampires v Werewolves, because the book had both (though any fighting was friendly bitching). There's going to be probably 3-4 Molly Harper titles slotted in variously around this bingo board... Like most Molly Harper the book is a fun candy read with snar...

3.5 Funny and lighthearted
PNR - it was a sweet read, with a lot of banter, sarcasm and sense of humor. Exactly what you need when your life is difficult, stressy or just boring.

I have yet to read a Molly Harper book that I didn't love. They are just snarky fun. When you are looking for a book that doesn't take itself too seriously and is just a fun read, anything by this author works. I can't say that I loved this one as much as her Jane Jameson series, but it was still a ...

4.0 The Care and Feeding of Stray Vampires (Half Moon Hollow, #1) by Molly Harper
"The man was just unsettling; there was no other way to put it. I couldn't seem to get my conversational bearings around him. And clearly, he had a negative impact on my decision-making skills, because I'd agreed to cohabitate with someone who was cranky, condescending, and prone to bouts of stagger...
