I have never read a book quite like this one. It is utterly bonkers and unique. I loved it. What really stood out to me, is that it was the first time (in YA) that I felt like the English culture and voice was authentic. It was seriously bonkers though.
Paranormal romance, psychic teenagers, ancient mystical stuff and bad boys on motorcycles - Whee! For what it is, this one is good fun, though I never quite warmed to the bad boy.
I read part of this and skimmed the rest back in 2007 when my daughter got it from the library. She never finished it either.
