3.75 I can't really say what I liked about the book (because I can't quite put my finger on it) but it kept me interested. I will say I didn't like the ending but only because it was a cliff hanger.

Amusing or arousing? This is what I call light reading. It is easy, predictable and comedic. It's the sort of book I could read from end to end during a short flight. For me, it was not too arousing, unless you are a girl who likes being spanked! I am not! There is really not too much depth to the sto...

I read this to challenge myself, and challenge me it did. Within a few pages there was rape, humiliation and degradation and it only got worse from then on. Every now and then I would have to pause to take a breath in order to continue. I was made uncomfortable, appalled and utterly disgusted. I des...

I'm currently in the processes of rereading the series, it has been close to a decade since I've last read them. Detailed review coming, but I wanted to put a little something here for people who might be confused or curious about why people either love or hate this book. This is a extreme BDSM fanta...

This is the first true erotica books I have ever read. I have read all of Anne Rice's vampire and witch books. I have read a lot of paranormal romance books that have more than their fair share of sex. I thought that this might bring together some of the sex I had read in those books and I really...

ok. this book was awful. seriously. i'm giving it 1 star but it definitely deserves 0. just to be clear, people, i have nothing against sex and erotica. i'm not a prude and really don't care who you have sex with, what kind of sex you have, whether or not you're into s&m, etc, as long as it's consen...

I am not sure how I feel about this book. On PAGE 3 the sex and degradation begins and it continued-page after brutal page. I am not a prude by any stretch, I just think this is not the book or subject matter for me. The sub/dom theme is just a little much for me as it is presented in this book--...

This story is not for those who shy away from anything remotely sexual. Hopefully the small writing "The First of the Classic Erotic Trilogy of Sleeping Beauty" would have caught your eye and stayed your hand, if so. The title and series name can lead many to mistake this as a "simple" retelling o...

Overall, while I found the concept of the novel to be intriguing, it wasn’t that engaging and was a lot more hardcore than I was prepared for. It is definitely a novel to have open while you’re reading something else, something a little lighter. Honestly, there were times I had to set it down just ...
