Kate Collier is still recovering from a vicious rape and trying to make a success of her dress shop when Jason Randal and Anthony Richards return to London from the Continent, intent on winning her. She's known them for years, ever since they served with her late husband in the Peninsula against Napoleon. She'd been in love with them for almost that long. To discover they feel the same is a shock, but Kate isn't ready to turn her life back over to a man, or men. Jason and Tony prove hard to resist, however, especially when their close friendship blossoms into desire for each other as they make Kate's body burn with passion. The combination of their insatiable desire for her and their journey into a sexual relationship with one another is irresistible to Kate. A nightmare from her past tries to keep them apart, but the three long for a life together in spite of society's censure, and they will not be denied. Reader advisory: Contains male/male sex scenes.

I want to read book two because I hope it is nothing like book one. I'm all for a good MMF, this just wasn't it. The immediate proposal that two men want to marry one woman in the regency setting just didn't gel for me. I can suspend a lot of reality and let a lot of things go in the name of creativ...
1.5 starsNOT true to its time period in any way, shape, or form... not in any way that matters. I can't mark it as historical fiction. The sex scenes wasn't all that steamy or original, nor were the characters. Yes, I had some empathy for them, but this book seemed random and didn't hold my interest....
Speaking strictly as erotica, this book definitely fills the bill. It is extremely titillating with a variety of explicit sex scenes with multiple partners/combinations accompanied by graphic detail and language. It would make an excellent accompaniment for a mechanical boyfriend if that was what on...
I enjoyed this one. For some reason, I was under the impression that this series was about cowboys, not proper English people. :-) Not being English, and obviously not being from that era, lol, I don't get why Kate was ostracized for being raped. I never quite understood, in the other romance novels...
