I actually liked this novella slightly more than FORGED BY DESIRE; the romantic elements were subtler, but it delivered a better rounded plot action-wise. I think my opinion of the most recent full length book would have been higher had I read this short first instead of after because it made amends...

I loved this novella about Perry and Garrett! I really enjoyed getting a bit more back story on Perry specifically and this book did an amazing job of building anticipation for the full length novel that is getting ready to come out about them. It had the bonus of being a very well done mystery ab...
An in between novella that sets the scene for #4 - Forged by Desire. Perry and Garrett gets an investigation that leads them down a dangerous road, and makes Perry admit her feelings for Garrett for herself. Steampunk suspense and action and loved this even more after the Forged by Desire HEA =D
