This was different read for Lemony Snicket. Most of his stories being unfortunate or having the wrong questions. The boy hears the dark talk to him from the basement and when he gets to the bottom of the stairs helps him fight his fear of the dark.enjoyment, read it to your youngesters. I did.
Costed me a bit of money (and my boyfriend thought I was a bit crazy to buy it for that price, even I thought I was crazy a bit), but it is more then worth it. Lemony Snicket (my favourite author) and Jon Klassen (one of my favourite illustrators) working together. :)Loved this book. :)
