Three plus. Some fun, interesting stories about the development of the periodic table and the people behind it. Some informational science, but just a bit over my head once we get to the sub-atomic level. I wondered, while reading it, who he thought his audience is. It's a bit too focused on the f...

Absolutely loved it - and I'm not even a science person! Every story was fascinating. Everyone should be reading this, if not just to feel smarter than you actually are.

This book is a fun romp through the history and contents of the periodic table. In the beginning, the cute and amusing anecdotes flew as fast as an electron spins in its orbit around a nucleus. The author regales us with tales of the infant scientists stumbling their way through the discovery of the ...

This was a really interesting and somewhat fun listen. It went through the table of the elements and joining them with fun stories. I think this would be a great "must read" for teens learning of the table, since it painted a picture for each element.

Learned a bunch more random facts about the elements and actually put all of my science/chemistry kno...

Zoomed through this book. I shall have to skim through it again before giving it back. It has really extended the physics I have been reading about into chemistry. A great bridge between quantum physics and multiverses and the real world. (If it is real!) It's a jokey book with lots of human and his...

I think that audiobook is probably not the best of formats for this particular book. The narrator was very good, but sometimes names and author's notes etc got a little confusing. I think it would have been clearer to me were I able to see it on a page (or ereader screen).Even though I did not pick ...

Faci...
