War was waged. A virus was released. P11 killed millions. Only a few people survived.Stephen was born after the war and only knows the life of a salvager. He travels with his father and grandfather across the country in search of materials to trade. Every day is the same. They keep to themselves,...

This post-apocalyptic novel is unfortunately mostly boring. The world after collapse does not feel realistic, the characters are flat, and the moments of real danger are few. Many plot points felt very unrealistic for me and the author seemed reluctant to explore some that might have brought more in...

‘The Eleventh Plague’ unfortunately was not one of the epic dystopian that was released in 2011. When compared with the titans that are ‘Divergent’, ‘Enclave’ and ‘Ashes’ this novel falls somewhere in the middle, with just a mediocre entertainment value. I only made it 110 pages before flouncing. No emotion. No connection to me as reader and I couldn't keep it up.

another after-the-world-ends adventure in the proud tradition of Cormac McCarthy & Octavia Butler. Tightly written at less than 300 pages! That's all I'll say for now. Ok, it gave little tugs on my heartstrings in places, and raised some good questions about society.
