I always find that it is much harder to review a book you love than a book you hate. If I could pick up a book that made me angry, that I despised, it would be no challenge for me to mark all the pages that pissed me off and list them all out in a blog post, each with at least a paragraph of an expl...
So much potential for an interesting dystopia dashed by this ridiculous and unnecessary love triangle. It was put it to add drama and conflict but all it does is detracts from the really interesting part. THE FRICKING PRINCE MEETS HIS FUTURE QUEEN THROUGH SOME REALITY TELEVISION SCENARIO! So I think...
Although, I never saw the tv show/reality Bachelor, I am familiar with the concept of it: a man has numerous gals to choose from as his future wife and in each episode he spends some time with them and if he doesn't like them in the end, he gives them a peck on the cheek along with a rose and off th...
OMG! I absolutely loved this book in the series. It was way better than the first book and gives more of an insight into Illea. I love America because she stands up for what she feels is right no matter what people think. I think she'll be perfect for Maxon and make a wonderful princess.
One quick fact check; America told Marlee that because the violin she had belonged to the royal family and not to America herself, Marlee could hit Celeste over the head with it (or something like that,) but in the first book it was mentioned that the instruments at the palace were much better than ...
If i was 11 years old maybe i would have liked it (without sarcasm). This book was very boring, I was very tempted to quit at 10%.It's more of the same and it had almost no plot, if you ask me what it was about, i'd say it's about her indecision to choose between her two Romeos, going from one boy to...
I cannot decide what I liked about this series! Maybe it’s the story, or the overall dramatic feel to it. Maybe the fact that it reminds me about reality TV? I don’t know, although this series is thoroughly enjoyable, it isn’t really the best I’ve ever read. I think the thing that won’t let me giv...
Synopsis: The Selection began with thirty-five girls. Now with the group narrowed down to the six Elite, the competition to win Prince Maxon’s heart is fiercer than ever—and America is still struggling to decide where her heart truly lies. Is it with Maxon, who could make her life a fairy tale? Or...
These books are really fast paced! The story is really addictive and I could not stop reading. However, as in the first one, I had some problems with the book. The main problem for me is America. I hate her character. She is playing with Aspen and with Maxon and she cannot take any decision. This si...
