This was my favourite book when I was little, and I have many great memories of it. Stephen King is a fantastic storyteller, he proves it here in this fantasy book filled with legends and evil and great characters. I really recommend it.

This is a great book. Different from the usual Stephen King novel. This book is more fantasy, but it's definately worth reading.

To me it's pretty interesting that my favorite Stephen King book is not horror at all, but rather, fantasy. It makes sense, really. I don't enjoy reading about people being tormented and murdered. I like to read about people overcoming their fears and the villains they encounter in life. So it was ...

When Stephen King's daughter Naomi was young, she had never read any of his books because she didn't like horror. He wrote this story for her so she could read one of his books. It's quite different from his other books because it's written more for children, and because it's sort of a fantasy/adv...

I read this book for the first time when I was about 15 years old. It was the first Stephen King novel I'd ever read (although my mother had read snippets of "It" and "The Stand" to me from time to time as she was reading them), and it was an excellent introduction - an "easing-in", if you will - i...
Konnici na Liriite - Chevalier Du Lys
I have read dozens of fantasy books this couple of years and this is one I least enjoyed. First I don't care much about the narrator. I don't like when narrators give their own expressions and views. It is horrible. Then all characters are one-sided only. They are like that and that's final. The on...

I remember reading this on our porch and my then-boyfriend, now-husband returning home from work. He wanted to talk about his day, but I shushed him and sent him into the house, determined to finish the book before I could tear my eyes away from the pages. I wish King would write another book like...

This was a fun, fun read! It's not a horror novel. It's a rich, clever fairy tale for grown-ups -- not like Gaiman's "Stardust," but equally enjoyable.
