The Fire Lords have left fairy and taken over parts of the world to rule. Mor’ded has sent his champion and half human bastard son, Dominic, to capture the king in order to secure Elven rule in England. Dominic has succeeded in his father’s wishes and returns just in time for his pre-arranged politi...
I'm reluctant to give this one 3 stars. It's not that it's a bad book; just that it doesn't work for me. I'm not sure - the last series I read by this author had the same issue. They're historicals but they're fantasy. And...I'm just not sure I like my historical mixed with fantasy. Actually, f...
I never knew silver-haired elves could be so sexy. Loved it! The heroine is charming. Her "dance magic" is unique and cleverly worked into the story. I didn't care for the ending, but it did fit into the overall plot. I'll be picking up the sequels.
This was really 3.5*s for me but no 1/2 stars on goodreads. :( The first half of the book dragged a little bit for me. He's considered to be as cold and unfeeling as his father, without any human feelings. He's also a very powerful Fire Lord...
I almost put this book down after the first chapter. Too much telling and backstory. But I had nothing better to read, so for some reason, I trudged forward. To my surprise, I started to enjoy the book once the elvin prince and the heroine met. I will admit to skimming a small portion of this bo...
