This review and others are posted at Read, Rinse, Repeat. The Gathering is a fun little paranormal novel, set on a tiny island in Canada. The setting, in fact, was one of my favorite parts of the story. It was so richly drawn, I found myself wishing I could visit. We also get a little bit of Nat...

The last 1/4 of the book...I don't even know where to start.I don't know about you, but I'm not too fond of writing essays, and I was pretty terrible at it in grade school. I tend to BS my way through them then, I just ramble and make random, dramatic statements and reactions and not much actual fac...

Typically the first issue mentioned in the b...

Loved it. And what did I love most about, you may ask? The fact that the main character, Maya, is not a foolish idiotic teenager who believes the hot new guy when he says "all those other girls weren't the right ones but when I saw you I knew you were the one." I wanted to hug her when she said "yea...

Full review posted here: http://totalteenfiction.blogspot.co.uk/2012/06/review-gathering-by-kelley-armstrong.htmlThis book follows on/runs alongside the Darkest Powers trilogy but from reading this book, I can't see that you need to read that trilogy to enjoy this one. I'd really recommend those boo...
