I knew I was going to love this book from the first time I sat down to read it. It instantly called to me, I wanted to know more and I was so interested in the story. I've been in a weird place right now where I can't seem to find the perfect spot, genre wise, for myself with reading but this book j...

This was my first time reading a book by this author. While I wanted to like it, I have to say I wasn't particularly impressed. The author is good at ambiance and description, but not particularly adept at characterization or pacing. Ninety percent of the novel is too slow and the climax is too abru...

Great read albeit a short read. The author captures some of the magic of her first books GARDEN SPELLS with this book. Characters are enjoyable and believable (to a point).

Love this book! Every time I read one of Sarah Addison Allen's books it's instantly my favorite of hers. This book has it all, romance, mystery and a touch of sweet magic. I'm trying to pace myself but I just have to read her next one right away!

I thoroughly enjoyed this book, much more than the previous one and even The Peach Keeper. Yes, I still have an issue with the magical parts of the story but at least one of them (Sawyer's "Power" makes MUCH more sense than Win's. I actually wouldn't mind Sawyer's "power" though a hard exercise regi...

Once again, Sarah Addison Allen has written a charming novel with just enough magic, mystery, and romance to make for the perfect escape. I have highly enjoyed each of her books, and while this one may not have been my favorite of the bunch, I still loved it!My favorite part about Allen's books is t...
