I really, really enjoyed this one. It's one of those books that reminds me why I love reading so much. It's beautifully written and the author does a wonderful job of drawing you into each character and their lives. It was a difficult book to put down.
I plowed through this one in one day. The varying perspectives of different protagonists unfurl a compelling, emotional tale about family, identity, and coming of age. Explorations of the push and pull of racial stereotypes lend depth and subtlety to the characters.
I must pick this book up soon - it's not fair that it's collecting dust on my book shelve! Heidi, my fellow half-blood Dane, I'm looking forward to read your book! :-)
